WE. LOVE. PLANTS. That’s the main thing you need to know! We aren’t your bog-standard garden centre that sells the same old perennials, we are a small family run business with a passion for discovering new varieties and seeing them grow!

Exciting early varieties
Jan and I (Yvonne) get the amazing job of choosing our perennials each year and its definitely our favourite time! When the catalogues start to arrive through the post it’s a race to see who can open them first.

We are a family run business located in Wallington, Surrey. Barnes Nurseries has been in our family for almost 50 years.
We love all plants, but our main passion is herbaceous perennials. We currently work with 15 different suppliers to bring you the most exciting and unusual plants. Our favourite thing to do is choose new varieties, especially those with unique and quirky name
