Our Availability

Despite our best efforts to keep our website up to date, we cannot guarantee the availability of all plants listed. Where a plant is unavailable, we will first email you with possible substitutes or if they are not to your liking we will send the balance of your order, adjusting your payment.

Our Plants

All of our plants are grown in 1 litre pots unless otherwise stated. For delivery purposes, we may remove some foliage and flowers if necessary. We do this so that plants can be packed efficiently and save you extra postage costs. This will not damage your plant, it can, in fact, promote growth.

Your plants WILL NOT look as they do in our online photographs, they are a representation of what a matured plant looks like once established.

All descriptions and photographs are correct to the best of our knowledge but every plant is different. Please accept that there may be slight variations in colour and eventual size of your plant.

Due to the nature of herbaceous perennials, once the plant has finished flowering we will usually cut the plant down. This promotes new growth and possibly even more flowers. For obvious reasons this happens more as the seasons progress so if you are ordering from late summer to early spring please be aware that your plant may have little or no foliage or flowers.  

We will never sell plants that we don't feel are fit for planting and that we wouldn't buy ourselves.

Despatch and Delivery

Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation email to let you know that we have received it. Please do not assume your order has been accepted until you receive your confirmation email.

We only despatch plants twice a week. Once despatched, your order will arrive next working day before 4pm. You will receive an email from our courier once your plants have been despatched. Please make sure that your postal and email addresses are correct for the most efficient delivery.

If there is no one at the address when the courier tries to deliver the parcel they will leave try leaving it with a neighbour or in a safe place. Please include your ‘safe place’ in the box left for further delivery instructions. If your parcel is left in an alternative place it is up to you to collect your parcel as soon as possible. Please remember that these are living plants and can only survive for a certain amount of time in the packaging, especially in very hot/very cold periods.

Once you receive your parcel please unpack it straight away and pot either straight into the ground or replant into a large pot – 2 litres or bigger, in appropriate soil and water it.

Please plant your new plant in the appropriate situation in your garden. We will include basic planting information but you may want to investigate this further. We cannot take any responsibility for plants once they are re-planted so it is up to you to plant it in the correct conditions and give it the appropriate aftercare.

Delivery Rates and Areas

Our plants are delivered at the following rates:
- for one or two plants - at a rate of £5.95
- for three or more plants - at a rate of £8.95

Our standard delivery charge is for mainland UK. For Scottish Highlands, Ireland and Offshore pricing please contact us. Unfortunately we do not deliver internationally.


If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason once it has been delivered, please contact us within 3 days by telephone or email. We may ask you to provide photographs of your plant. Please do not send your plant back without contacting us first as we cannot give refunds for plants that are returned without our prior agreement. We will always do our best to sort any problems or answer any queries, however small.

Please remember when considering returning any items that you have simply changed your mind about, we would expect all plants to reach us in the same condition as they left. We have chosen our courier because of their good reputation for handling plants. We would be happy to arrange for them to pick up the items for a returns charge of £7. Using alternative returns methods may result in damaging the plants in which case we will not issue a refund.
